The 2 main services we provide, related to your qualified retirement plan document:
  1. Plan Document Design or Re-statement
  2. Operational Compliance

These services are provided through close working relationships with our Third-Party Administrators (TPAs).

Some Plan Design reminders for high-functioning plans:
  • Plan design is often outgrown & never reviewed.
  • What you name your plan is much more important than most realize.
  • The most common fiduciary breach, in the small to mid-sized market, is operational compliance.
  • Employer Contributions are an investment in your business & employee’s lives. The 10:1 rule.
  • If one objective is to benefit key employees, leveraged allocation formulas should be used & often are not.
  • Plan design provisions can create some of the most effective ways to simplify administration & avoid wasting money
  • “Permitted Disparity” is often overlooked.
  • Safe Harbor design and Auto Features are a trend & have a place.
Some plan-related services we provide in partnership with our TPAs:
  • Plan design & administrative consulting
  • Summary Plan Description preparation
  • File all IRS & DOL reporting forms
  • Compliance testing – ADP/ACP, Top-heavy, coverage, etc.
  • On-going recommendations and updates based on legislative changes
  • Reconcile all employee and employer contributions
  • Assist with third party or IRS audits

Be the change you wish to see in the world.
